When buying a used car, especially from a small car lot, it's always wise to do your homework. In our case we didn't. But that is not to say it was totally our fault for the bad deal we got. Jay, the manager, talked the good sale. Promising a good car, with clean title, proper inspections done, and a speedy sale to get us on our way. Come to find out the only truth was the speedy paperwork. And even that worked against us. Within 24 hours the 'Service Engine Soon' light went on. After notifying Jay the next day he did offer to fix it. Left him the car overnight 3 weeks later because he had to locate the part, which he did at Ecology in Otay Mesa. On pick up day he informs me that the cars registration might say 'Salvage'. This is 3 weeks after we bought it! And the inspections? They were done the day I dropped the car off for repairs. 3 weeks after sale! As far as the speedy paperwork that came back to haunt us. Car dealers, by law, have to offer you a 48 hour return policy for a nominal fee. As we were signing away he never explained any of it to us. Our bad. But not yours if you take our advice. Take the time to look over what you're signing. Ask questions. Spend the extra $100+ or so to be able to return the car. And most importantly, you do the homework because all Jay does is wash the vehicles

I went here to buy a car for my son. He had saved up $5000 to buy his very first car. This guy assured me everything was great with the car, everything was good and I took some time to think about it. We did finally get the car and it sat in the driveway until my son got his drivers license. I would start it up periodically to make sure it was OK but that was it. It has been driven a total of maybe 250 miles because we live about 55 miles away from the car lot And I've had to take it back twice for Them to remove the alarm system that would just go off while driving it. When my son got his license a week ago, he was very excited to get in his car! He drove it maybe 15 miles and it completely broke down. I took it to our local mechanic and It has a blown head gasket the brake lights would not go off, the battery had a bad cell, the fuse box was so hot it was about to melt. The bushings were so bad that the front tires were going to fall off! Now, I can't get them to answer the phone!!!! I am sure I am wasting my time, but my heart is broken for my son! He worked so hard and now has nothing!

The car I was looking at looked fantastic-in the pictures-then I went to grab another look over the ad and noticed this car is NOT an automatic, rather a manual. I can only imagine what else may have been incorrect and I'm glad I didn't take much more time.I have physical issues and would have been really pissed if I had gone in to see the car and been surprised with a manual. So glad I didn't.
I came to google to check their minimal amount of reviews and thought a 3.7 wasn't all that good but merely o.k.
