The only thing that keeps me from giving them 5 Stars is that the prices for regular grocery store items are a little high.
Our favorite grocery store. Lots of specialty items as well as all of the basics. Beautiful produce. The deli counter has huge variety and makes the best sandwiches. Lots of prepared dishes, including beautiful sushi. Very nice wine selection.
They have a very good in-house meat department, extensive and fresh ready made meals for dinner or lunch including Italian, Mexican, comfort food. Nice selection of wine and fruit and vegetables. They also have area to sit and have coffee and baked goods.
This is a family-owned non-chain Market that serves a lot of locally-sourced food that has an absolutely tremendous Deli great bakery decent flower department and the Butcher and seafood departments are outstanding. If you're looking for prepare food there are little areas where you can sit and eat and the food is absolutely delicious. Also the deli counter is a really good choice and they make really good sandwiches. There's a lot of gourmet options and things like ice cream and hot sauce cetera that you might like and want a very large variety of great products, this is the place to come. The staff is incredibly friendly and I could not say anything bad about them and recommend them extremely highly
I have been shopping at Major Market since its opening in the late 80s. It's a great wonderful store to experience. You will never go else where. Prices are very good, service is first class. Music is classical so relaxing and fine. It's an economical classy supermarket with a coffee bar. I love to go there for my weekly supply of good food. Patti K. Of Escondidio.
If you enjoy good food, this is your store. Some of the best meat in the area. Specialty items you can't find elsewhere. Staff is friendly and helpful. I drive from San Marcos to shop here. Worth it.
