Escondido PD was my first taste of how crooked a police force could be.
Poorly trained officers. This dept. has a history of harassing and illegally detaining citizens for the Constitutionally protected activity of filming in public.
I had to contact the PD in regards to a parking citation. I understand it is their job to assist us, but when a person is so cordial, knowledgeable and helpful I feel I need to point that out. Lisa, who I spoke to in the citation division, would say she is just doing her job. I wish more people would be just like her. Thanks Lisa, and thanks Escondido PD.
These officers are known for violating basic federal rights. It's a sad day for Escondido when they can't trust the people wearing the badge. I hope the DOJ will open an investigation
