Also needed new toilet seat; another employee directed me to the proper ailse. Both employees were very helpful as they've been in the past as well.
While shopping for some new lightbulbs Wednesday afternoon, one bulb dropped out of a package I was looking at; I told a nearby Lowes employee. He was very kind, soon came back with a broom and dustpan, and cleaned up my mess. No problems here as I bought another lightbulb pkg with no further incident.
Upon entering Lowes/Mission Ave, saw a very clean store!

Not Happy at all
I needed to replace the line in my Black & Decker trimmer, and I went to buy a replacement. As always the nice employees helps me to installed it. This employee Dave helped me. Very courteous and friendly.
Don't go here to get new carpet. Went in Feb to get carpet for our living room and they overcharged me. It was such a hassle trying to get a refund from them, let alone get them to understand the math my husband did to find out they charged us wrong. Needed the same the carpet for the bedrooms and went back last week. My mistake for not learning the first time. Told them I wanted the same carpet and padding and they charged me for a completely different padding, which of course was more expensive. Now all the rooms feel different when walking on them.
If you decide to get carpet from them, make sure you do the math yourself, do not take their word for it!
Lowe's Open a business acount and always get 5% off on all purchases. Home Depot not so good. I closed my account rather than get credit for a gas station that over charges for gas no thanks. Today i got a 160 20 ft extension ladder on sale 56 dollars off than 10% the last 3 days off. I paid 89 dollars now thats a deal.
Good service by people on the floor, but a bad moment with the woman in the self service registers since there was a couple problems with the barcode labels.
