Love this market, they carry allot of items from all over Asia, Mexico & others.
If it means anything to you, and it should, I see many Asians coming here to shop.
I love this little market! They have a wide variety of South east asian ingredients and a decent Hispanic section. Meat counter is pretty good, there's fresh fish, and everyone who works there has always been friendly and helpful.
A good selection of frozen fish, duck, fish balls and all sorts of Asian delights. Also, a decent selection of noodles, wraps, beverages, sauces, spices, and oils for a store of it's size.
it's local and don't have to fight the traffic plus the prices are better.
Lots of the freshest vegetables and the prices are so reasonable then the big markets
That being said, it's not 99 Ranch. I was going to give the store a 4 because it's not as epic as 99 Ranch. It's meat department is... quaint. A fair bit of their meat department is focused on culturally Latino meat seasonings and cuts. Their produce department was also a little small.
I have known the management for over 25yrs they have a store in Vista my family has gone to them so when I found out that they have a store in Escondido its like coming back home Like family that's how they make you feel
The place is clean too, that's a big plus the customer service is the best, the owner
This place deserves 5 stars for what it represents: Having a nice place to get most of your Asian based needs without having to drive to 99 Ranch.
