The Oak Hill Memorial Park Cemetery gates are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Gates are open from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
March 8th 2017 marked the 20th anniversary of my Dad's death
Oak Hill Memorial Park is home to the North County Cemetery District Office, which serves Escondido, San Marcos, most of Vista, and the surrounding areas. The main office is opened from 8 am to 4:30 p.m. There are bathrooms to the side of the main office, which are open Monday through Friday until 4:30 pm. This cemetary is located right next to Orange Glen high school, less than half a mile away. It is situated on the outer limits of Escondido, right next to a residential neighborhood. Accordingly, the cemetary is very very quiet. The combination of the peaceful ambiance, the happy and green trees and grass, and the beautiful weather makes for a perfect place to pray, reflect, and give thanks.
Beautiful, big and peaceful cemetary with lots of space to pray, reflect, and give thanks with your loved ones. Lots of well-watered, soft, green grass to sit and/or lay on with family and friends. Plenty of large trees provide natural shade on hot, bright days.
Serene and tranquil. It is beautiful and fills me with peace and harmony. I am glad my parents are resting here.
